Our Mission Statement
The Matthew Fields Fund provides area young adults with funds to pursue an education, when it would otherwise be impossible.
Qualifications for the Matthew Fields Scholarship
High school students are recommended for the Matthew Fields Scholarship by teachers, Passaic police officers, Passaic PBA #14, Passaic County Police Benevolents Association and personal referrals.
In order to qualify:
- Candidates have to maintain at least a B - C grade average.
- They must have been accepted into a college of their choice and submit a copy of their acceptance to MFSF.
- They must submit a 300 word essay about their school life, sports, hobbies, extracurricular activities/jobs and their future goals.
